Cryptozoology is the study of creatures believed to exist but have not been proven to officially exist. Cryptids are the name of such animals. Bigfoot and The Loch Ness Monster are two of the most famous cryptids. The question still remains do these creatures exist, or they simply lore.
During the next few weeks, I will cover some lesser-known cryptids.
The first cryptid we will take a look at is the Burrunjor is a cryptid of Australia. Mainly seen in the Outback, this enormous three-toed reptilian biped with tiny front legs has been stories of the Aboriginal culture for centuries. This monster has been known to decimate cattle, kangaroos, and camels. There has been a rash of cattle killings, where the cow was ripped in half.
Reptillian footprints ranging from one to two feet in diameter were found around the dead animal.
Looking more like a prehistoric creature, this massive cryptid is known by the names of Cold Three-Toes, and Murra-Murri by the natives of Australia. Is this a dinosaur left over from prehistoric times or simply a creature from a Country where everything wants to kill everything else?
